You have learned that a triangle is a three-sided polygon, but do you know the various types of triangles? Triangles can be classified by their sides or angles. As you watch the Brain Pop Video, use your note taking guide to record the names and characteristics of the six types of triangles. You may have to play the video more than once.
Step One: Types of Triangles Brain Pop Video
Using your note taking guide, play Triangle Baseball with your group. Be sure that each "player" gets a turn. Time Keepers...be sure your group does not waste all their time at this website. Your time limit is 10 minutes.

Without using your note taking guide, complete the triangle sort with your group. When your group completes the "triangle properties" sort, print one copy of your results to turn in for your group.
